How to Bake Apple Rose Tarts

Make a delicious and pretty apple rose tart with me! It’s so easy and delicious.

Ingredients

  • Apples

  • Puff pastry

  • 1 tbsp of cinnamon sugar

  • 3 tbsp of sugar

  • Powdered sugar

  • Half a cup of water

  • Butter

Materials

  • Ramekins

  • Pastry brush

  • Glass bowl

  • Small bowl

  • Knife

  • Cutting board

 

Step 1

Thinly slice your apples and place in a glass bowl with half a cup of water. Microwave until bendy, this took me 3-4 mins.

Step 2

Cut puff pastry into two inch strips and brush on melted butter.

Step 3

Mix 1 tbsp cinnamon and 3 tbsp sugar in a separate bowl.

Step 4

Lay the single 2 inch puff pastry flat and sprinkle cinnamon sugar on top. Layer the apples by placing the slices with the skin on the outside and tuck in one by one like in the photo above.

Step 5

Sprinkle cinnamon sugar on the apples and roll into roses.

Step 6

Butter ramekin and place the rose inside. Bake at 375F for 20-25 minutes. Sprinkle on powdered sugar and enjoy!
